General

We guarantee our animals to arrive healthy and properly sexed. Please inspect all animals immediately upon receipt. We must be notified of any concerns within 24 hours of receipt. We are happy to offer support with the husbandry of any animal received from Tierra de Morelia for the duration of the animal’s life. TDM is unable to control how animals are cared for once they leave our facility; therefore, we are unable to offer long term guarantees on our animals. There are no refunds on animals, deposits, or partial payments. We reserve the right to determine whether a replacement animal or future credit is warranted.

Shipping

All of our animals are shipped overnight via FedEx with live delivery guaranteed. Shipments are only sent Monday through Wednesday for next day arrival. We reserve the right to ship when weather is safe to do so. This means safe temperatures at the origin, hub and destination. Someone must be present at the address to receive the package. In the unlikely event an animal does not arrive alive, we must be notified within 24 hours, with a photo of the deceased animal, sent via email. We do not issue refunds for losses, but at our sole discretion and depending on availability, we will replace with an animal of equal value at no charge or offer future credit.

Payment

Accepted payment methods include Cashapp, Zelle, credit card, PayPal, money order, cash (if local) or check. There is a 10-day holding period on personal checks to ensure they clear before animals will be shipped.

Deposits and Payment Plans: We offer payment plans on purchases of animals totaling $1,000 or more. To hold a specific animal/s, a minimum deposit of 25% is required. Payment frequency shall be at least monthly and begin within one month after the deposit. The duration of the payment plan is determined by the value of the purchase. Once the agreed upon price is paid in full, shipping will be coordinated. Please note deposits and payments are non-refundable. If for any reason the customer does not finish paying for the animal/s or complete the payment plan, any deposit and/or payments towards the agreed upon purchase price will be honored as a credit for future purchases. The only exceptions to this term are if an animal becomes sick or dies while still in our care and we have no similar animal we can replace it with. We are flexible with the duration of our payment plans and understand that sometimes things happen, and a customer may not be able to complete a purchase within the agreed upon length of time. We reserve the right to cancel a payment plan completely 30 days after the final payment was to be made.

Any fraudulent transaction will be prosecuted to the full extent of the law.

We sincerely hope all animals do extremely well for all customers. We are available to answer questions, offer husbandry advice and support for animals purchased from us for so long as customers own them. This is a big advantage of purchasing from a reputable breeder! Please allow at least one business day for replies.
