Pearl Island Boa (Imperator sabogae)

Pearl Island Boas are a beautiful race of boa with some unique qualities that distinguish them from other island localities and from mainland animals as well. They hail from el Archipiélago de las Perlas, a chain of islands in the Gulf of Panama. They have a naturally hypomelanistic and reduced pattern with a more narrow head compared to many boas. They also handle differently, rarely using their tails to anchor and constantly moving.
